Chased SW Kansas today with Kinney Adams, and Todd Sprinkman. We kept watching an area just to
our west, that kept producing updraft after updraft, but nothing seemed to get orginized.

While at the same time, 2 storms kept taunting us to leave this area to go after them.

We finally gave in and went after the orginized storms, with one hour of daylight left.
Here you can see where we are in relation to the storm, and the meso.

As we got near the storm, and after the meso crossed the road in front of us, we could see a great looking tornado.
Light was fading fast, so good pictures were hard to come by.

The tornado roped out, and then briefly touched the ground again for about a minute.
Here Todd and Kinney watch as the tornado and old meso drift west of the parent storm.

After Dark, we let the storm get away from us and took some structure shots.
